The CCHR is seeking applications from Cambodian candidates for recruiting one full time position of Project Intern based in Phnom Penh for a period of six months. The selected candidate will work closely with Business and Human Rights Project – a project which has been set up to incorporate engagement and advocacy with companies involved in land conflicts, in addition to engagement and advocacy with garment factories and companies purchasing from the garment industry in Cambodia.
Main job tasks & Responsibility
- Assisting in research on business and human rights issues;
- Following up the news related to land conflicts, labor, garment, and human rights issues and maintaining the copies in folder;
- Updating news development of garment industry into the garment factory map under the supervision of the Project Coordinator;
- Managing the filing of documents under the supervision of the Project Coordinator;
- Assisting in the Project’s event organizing;
- Assisting in posting and uploading documents onto Business and Human Rights Portal;
- Applying the organization’s policies and maintaining the organization’s resources.

Education & Requirement
- Recent university graduate or year-4 university student in the field of law, business administration, international business or any fields related to business and human rights;
- Good command in English language—reading, writing and speaking;
- Interest in Business, Human Rights and law field;
- Honest, hardworking and willing to learn;
- Have good communication and interpersonal skill;
- A computer skill including Microsoft Office, Internet and Email are preferable;
- No work experience is required.
