FORUM-ASIA is hiring an Editor for its online publication of a report on Freedom of Expression in Southeast Asia. The editor would be responsible for editing five articles (4000 – 5000 words each), which will be released bimonthly from March to May 2020. The editor would be responsible for factual verification, content editing and overall editing and review of the document.
The ideal candidate must have an excellent command of spoken and written English, and show an aptitude for journalism and / or creative writing. A general understanding of human rights, particularly on freedom of expression and issues of civic space is desirable. Experience writing, editing and fact-checking human rights pieces is desirable.
