Dear Friends,
In conjunction with the ACSC/APF 2016 in Timor Leste, KOMAS will be organizing a 2 ASEAN film screening events on the 3rd & 4th of August, 2016 from 6pm – 8pm.
We are now calling for films that feature issues that cross borders and/or involve communities in ASEAN working together.
This event will offer a more casual platform and space for participants to share and deepen our understanding and built networks on common concerns.
As partners of ACSC/APF 2016, we are now inviting you to send in films that you would like to showcase during the screening.

Theme: Borders that should not divide
- Content priority: Film that feature cross border issues and co-operation of at least 2 ASEAN countries.
Type and Duration of Film:
- Short films and documentaries
- Made between 2014 – 2016.
- Duration between 5 – 20 minutes
Language: Films can be in any language but must contain English subtitles or an English transcript.
Films from Malaysia, Indonesia and Timor Leste must have Malay or Bahasa Indonesia Subtitles.
Due to time limitation, only shortlisted films will be screened.
