The General Election Network for Disability Access (AGENDA) 3rd Regional Dialogue will take place in Jakarta, Indonesia from January 28-29th. Disabled person’s organizations, election officials and other stakeholders from 25 different countries will share good practices and lessons learned for increasing access to the political process for persons with disabilities.
The General Election Network for Disability Access (AGENDA) 3rd Regional Dialogue will take place in Jakarta, Indonesia from January 28-29th. Disabled person’s organizations, election officials and other stakeholders from 25 different countries will share good practices and lessons learned for increasing access to the political process for persons with disabilities. So far over 180 participants and speakers from 27 countries are confirmed.
This international dialogue is co-hosted by Indonesia’s General Election Commission and the Association of World Election Bodies, supported by the International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES), and facilitated with the local support of two partners: the Indonesian Association of Persons with Disabilities(PPDI) and the Voter Education Network for the People (JPPR).
Rafendi Djamin, Indonesia Representative to ASEAN Intergovernmental Commission on Human Rights (AICHR) will deliver the keynote speech at 10 AM Jakarta time on January 28.
The two-day Dialogue begins with an opening ceremony at 9:00 AM WIB (Jakarta time) on Wednesday, January 28, and Thursday, January 2015. Please find the latest conference rundown attached. You can join the live stream at any time.
