The Status of Human Rights in the time of COVID-19 Pandemic in Southeast Asia

“What are the impact brought by COVID-19 pandemic to civic and democratic space in the region? How to redefine civil society’s struggle and to ensure its continuation toward achieving the promotion and protection of human rights in the region? How to increase solidarity and resilience among civil society and the public under such a crisis?”

FORUM-ASIA, SHAPE-SEA, and Solidarity for ASEAN Peoples’ Advocacy would like to invite you to join the webinar series to answer those questions. The series of discussions are aiming at addressing the concerns from civil society organisations and public on the ASEAN government’s measures related to COVID-19 and its impact to human rights as well as creating an alternative platform to increase solidarity among people of ASEAN.

The sessions will be conducted weekly, from 7 April to 11 May 2020.
