    Indonesian NGO’s Coalition for International Human Rights Advocacy or Human Rights Working Group (HRWG) is a national-wide organization with 47 members across Indonesia, based in Jakarta. We advocate human rights challenges at both national and regional level international level through the human rights mechanisms at United Nations (UN), Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and Association of South-East Asian Nations (ASEAN). Therefore we divided our team into two main divisions; UN-OIC Advocacy, and ASEAN Advocacy.

    Currently, HRWG is looking for professional, highly motivated, has a strong commitment, able to work individually and as part of the team under different circumstances including pressures, has intensive knowledge about NGO’s activities as well as government –NGO relationship, familiarity with diplomatic communities in Jakarta and interested to involve, to joining us as Secretary of the Coalition.

    Duties and Responsibilities for the SECRETARY.

    The duties will cover, but not be limited to, the following:

    1. Provide secretarial and administrative support to the office of HRWG including its programs.

    1. Prepare documents related to Executive Director’s travel such as: Travel Authorization, flight booking, visa, hotel reservation and settlements paperwork.
    2. Arrange Executive Director’s schedules for appointments and update calendar of meetings to be attended by the Executive Director.

    2. Coordinate and manage general correspondence.

    1. Record incoming and outgoing letters/memos including filing, photocopying and distributing of incoming letters and memos to the relevant officers.
    2. Establish and maintain a coherent filing system in accordance to HRWG standard.

    3. Coordinate meeting or events organised by HRWG.

    1. Service as a supporting staff in meetings or events organised by HRWG.
    2. Prepare the logistic, room arrangement, distribute the material for meetings and ensure the preparation of the necessary equipment.

    4. Perform basic human resources administration and other secretarial duties as assigned by Executive Director.

     

    The Qualifications for the SECRETARY are:

    1. Graduated at least D3 in any disciplines. Majoring in Secretary, Business Administration, and Public Relation is preferable.
    2. At least 2 years of experience with National or International NGOs will be an advantage.
    3. Experienced in handling a wide range of administrative and executive support related tasks.
    4. Well-organized, flexible and enjoy the administrative challenges in supporting diverse people and programmes.
    5. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels of the organisation.
    6. Highly proficient in computer programmes.(window,Exell, websites, ppt)
    7. Able to work under pressure, fast learner, and adaptable.
    8. Having good communication skill, personality, and positive attitude.
    9. Ability in correspondence, administration, and filling.
    10. Ability to organize national and international workshop, seminar and training.
    11. Ability to implement human resources administration.
    12. Fluent in English both oral and written is a must.
